Built for two windows, and not for cramming.

Most students start prep 3 to 4 months before their target test date. The 11th grade window targets the spring SAT plus a senior fall retake. The 12th grade window targets fall test dates with college applications on the line. Either way: weekly sessions beat last minute cramming, every time.

    Spring SAT prep

    March → June timeline. Build the foundation, take official practice tests, score your first real SAT before college essays start eating senior fall.

  • 12th grade

    Senior fall retake

    August → November timeline. Diagnose what cost you points the first time, fix it specifically, retake before the December application deadline.

    A real SAT math section, timed under test conditions. Not a generic placement test, the actual 2024 Digital SAT format, full 70 minutes.

    Score analysis

    Every wrong answer mapped to its question type and root cause: content gap, careless error, timing pressure, misread, or strategy failure. The plan flows from the analysis.

  3. Step 03 03

    Personalized plan

    A sequenced topic plan covering only what costs you points, not the whole SAT Math as textbook curriculum. Built to your timeline and your real test date.

  4. Step 04 04

    Weekly sessions

    Two hour sessions, mixing topic teaching, timed problem sets, and full mini section practice. Diagnostic test deltas every two weeks to confirm the plan is working.

    Method

    12 weekly sessions over 3 months. Quadratics and rational expressions as the primary content focus, with timed mini sections every fourth week.

    740 math on the May SAT. +160 points in 12 sessions.

    Method

    8 sessions, twice weekly for the final month. Pure problem solving practice on official College Board sets, with a focus on translating English to equations cleanly.

    720 on the December SAT. +100 points, in time for the regular decision deadline.

    Method

    16 sessions over 4 months. Heavy focus on Advanced Math edge cases, function transformations, exponential growth/decay, system of equations word problems.

  • Three to four months before the target test date is the sweet spot. Less than 8 weeks of prep limits how much we can move the score; longer than 5 months and the early work fades before test day.

  • The SAT is fully digital as of 2024, including in Morocco. Every prep session uses the digital format, with the actual on screen tools (built in calculator, mark for review, formula reference).

  • No. I tutor SAT math only. For Reading & Writing, I refer to specialist English tutors and offer an introduction to one if needed.

  • It's the median outcome for students who put in the weekly work, do the assigned problem sets, and start at least 12 weeks out. Bigger jumps happen when the starting score is in the 500s; smaller jumps happen above 700, where every additional point is harder.

  • SAT prep specifically needs 2 hours, long enough to teach a domain, work problems, and end with a timed mini section. For shorter sessions, regular 1.5 hour American curriculum tutoring is the better fit.

  • Yes, every fourth session ends with a timed mini section. Full length proctored mock exams happen at the 6 week and 2 week marks before the real test, scheduled separately.

  • I focus on SAT & PSAT. The ACT has a different math section weighting and includes science, different prep, different tutor.
